When Bon Appetips hit my mailbox I freak out. On a freak out scale of 1 to 10, where "1" is a hang nail and "10" is (a) an email from Javier Bardem; or (b) a video of 4-day old bulldog puppies (and an "11" is a video of bulldog puppies narrated by Javier Bardem in Spanish), you're about a 9.7.
lolzzzzz. but Katherine!! what about your videos!! absolutely LOVED your quick take on gardening. I'm paraphrasing here, but wasn't it to the tune of: "Gardening is hard and you don't get any vegetables from it." !! Let's team up and hit that Javier Bardem 11!!!
Check out this month's cover of GQ. Javier is rocking a long coat and looking fab. I know this because we get GQ now. Scott got an email from American airlines saying "you need to spend your miles or you're going to use them. How about getting a bunch of magazine subscriptions?" So Scott signed up for free subscriptions to Wine Spectator, GQ, and like 10 financial magazines that are totally irrelevant to my life. When he told me this, I was like, "huh. So. . . could you not use the miles for airline tickets?" And he was like, "OH. CRAP."
Lolz all around ;) Quick question; I'm a photographer from Australia and I'm curious as to what gear Matt uses? (If you'd like to check out my work head over to my blog or, for more recent photos, my facey page; http://www.facebook.com/pages/Thomas-Pugh-Photography/353396020701)
Thanks for the seemingly never ending source of entertaining ideas Amelia!
Thanks for the kind words! Your photos are awesome and that 50 1.4 is such a great lens. For Bon Appetempt I shoot w/ a canon 7D and a couple lenses, mostly relatively cheapish ones... 50 1.8, 28 2.8, old Zeiss 135 3.5 w/ adapter, a Tokina 11 - 16 2.8 for really wide stuff... and a few lights that I tend to use more for the videos. Thanks again for the shout out on Tea Drunk Photography and good luck w/ your wedding gigs!
pssst... word on the street is that since this vid dropped, EVERYONE in LA is floating the label!! it's everywhere!! You can't find a bottle of wine with a label on it ANYWHERE in this city!! FLOAT - THE - LABELLLLLLL!!!
Love your tips Amelia you look like you are having loads of fun when you all are recording the videos, just so you know you are at my "inspiration board" :)
